Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on infrastructure from Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you access the site, the server may temporarily process technical connection data such as your IP address, date and time, requested resource, referrer, browser and operating system, response status and transferred data volume. This is necessary to deliver the website reliably, maintain security and diagnose faults. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is not combined with other data and is deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Analytics — optional
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-2BYPNCS6G6), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is used only after you actively allow analytics. Before consent, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no analytics request is sent. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled by this site.
If you consent, Google Analytics processes information about how the website is used, which can include pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, device and browser information, and online identifiers such as cookies. The purpose is to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Google may process data outside the EEA; safeguards described in Google's data-processing terms apply. You can withdraw consent at any time through . Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.
Your privacy choice
Your choice is stored locally in your browser for up to 180 days so that the site can remember it. The stored entry contains your analytics choice, a consent-version number and a timestamp. It is necessary to remember the choice and is not transmitted to me. You can remove it by reopening the privacy settings or clearing this site's browser storage.

The legal basis depends on the context: steps taken at your request before entering a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or my legitimate interest in responding to correspondence under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. I retain correspondence only as long as needed for the request and applicable legal obligations.
